As a participant in the APL Genealogy Group, you will learn how to build your family tree and preserve your family history for future generations. The sessions will focus on the use of two of the largest websites in the world of genealogy (FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com), and how to access these resources at the Airdrie Public Library and from home.

Aimed at those with beginning and intermediate skills, participants will gain expertise in using the online websites, effectively searching the billions of online historical records, and the fundamentals of proper research. Content will be drawn from actual situations in participants’ family trees.

Begins September 11.
